CORE MATERIALS

CORE MATERIALS ARE USED IN FIBREGLASS LAMINATION TO CREATE A 'SANDWICH' STRUCTURE THAT INCREASES THE STIFFNESS AND THICKNESS OF A PART WITHOUT SIGNIFICANTLY ADDING TO ITS WEIGHT.

COREMAT

COREMAT is the original laminate bulker in open mold processes like hand lay up (HLU) and spray up (SU). For HLU and SU it is important that the product wets out quickly but also remains intact long enough to be processed. The product needs to be flexible to conform to the shape of the mold.
Available in thicknesses from 2mm to 10mm, 1000mm wide rolls.

SPHERECORE

SPHERECORE is a lightweight composite core material made of fibreglass and thermoplastic microspheres.
Available in thicknesses from 2mm to 10mm, 1000mm wide rolls.

NIDACORE

NIDACORE is a polypropylene honeycomb covered or not on both faces with a soft polyester non-woven fabric. It's available in 2100mm x 1200mm plates ready for direct use: laminating, gluing and shaping. This flexible and light panel enables easy use in sandwich panels where most usual techniques of cutting, laminating and gluing can be applied.
Available in thicknesses 5mm, 10mm, 15mm and 20mm.

MYCELL

MYCELL , a brand of closed-cell, is a cross-linked PVC foam used as a core material in composite structures.
Available in thicknesses from 3mm to 25mm. Sheet sizes 1020mm x 2180mm. (Datasheet available)
